I woke up dead. Feeling dead at least. Wishing dead, but waking up meant I wasn't and there in lied the trouble. My head was pounding. A rhythmic reminder not to open my eyes. I had played this game before. I knew I couldn't get the coffee without braving the light and where there was no coffee there was no hope. Maybe just one more hour though.
